Cooking up
something good

YouTubers Daan Boom and Tobias Camman are great friends. They are inseparable. But Thomas has a big problem with one of Daan’s habits. Daan’s daily diet consisted of sugary nonsense, cookies, and basically, crap. He had an idea to fix this: a cooking show teaching Daan to cook. But he needed help getting it done. Crocs to the rescue!

A terrible diet
turned into
a prizewinning
YouTube format

HUNGRY FOR MORE
The pilot turned out to be the perfect appetizer: fans loved the new format and were asking for more. Early ‘22 we launched the Easter and BBQ specials. The format stays the same in all seasons: Tobias is the head chef and Daan is the apprentice. It might get a bit messy. They might get distracted, a lot. But each episode has a delicious plot: a dinner table filled with tasty dishes created with Jumbo ingredients.

LET’S GET COOKING
The goal of the show is to simply teach Daan the basics of cooking so that he will hopefully change his diet and stop eating candy bars for lunch. But as for anything these guys create together, there was no way this would not be hilarious. We reached out to our friends at Yune, who are the social agency for Jumbo supermarkets. They loved it and managed to swiftly create a pilot of three episodes, airing in the ‘21 Christmas season.

‘I may be 32, but I eat like a teenager hitting the supermarket
on break time.’
