Influencer Daan Boom is the Eminem of the Netherlands. Or at least, that’s his dream. He documents his dreams of becoming a famous rapper in the hit YouTube show ‘The Dean’. The first season was a big fat hit and The Dean had to create a follow-up. We brought in a big green partner to help level up the production.

THE DEAN HEARTS KPN
In this second season, The Dean is looking to produce a collab track with an international artist. The collaboration between Daan and KPN is super-mega-obvious from the get-go. In the process, he takes every opportunity to thank his sponsors very seriously. For example Tobias, Daan’s sidekick goes to very far lengths to create four extremely cringy commercials for KPN. Each YouTube video results in the release of a track and music video. The track ‘Speler’ is a modern commentary on #metoo and how smartphones play a role in this. In ‘Tellie Op Stil (feat Dennie Christian) The Dean spits lines on screen stress. Will The Dean make it into international charts? Check out the episodes below and get ready for a lot of LOLs.
