Ramadan Iftar:
Magnum

Crocodile presented an out of box idea to Magnum about organizing an intimate Iftar event. Magnum was very enthousiast and Crocodile made this idea come to life. With this campaign Crocodile made an event feel like a real, intimate Iftar evening. We wanted to create a feeling of this event not being part of a campaign but we also wanted to generate the best results possible for Magnum.

Dinner & Henna party with Magnum

DINNER & HENNA PARTY WITH MAGNUM
The idea of our creatives was to blend in with the Ramadan, and create an evening of ‘pleasure worth sharing’ with Magnum. Influencer Ruba Zai hosted the event at her home and invited ten of her closest friends to celebrate Iftar. This is the moment during Ramadan that sun has set and everyone may drink and eat. We translated this idea of blending in with the Ramadan into a beautiful dinner & henna party, in sign of Magnum. We were able to make a beautiful cozy setting where everyone felt comfortabel. The whole diner table was decorated in style with an extra touch of the Magnum brand. We also invited a henna artist who put henna on the guest. As dessert there were a lot of Magnum ice creams, which were decorated with edible henna and other decorations.

Pleasure worth sharing

For the influencers that were invited by Ruba, this evening did not feel like a “branded event”. Because of this, all of the influencers made a lot of organic content. We launched this campaign with the primary goal to create awareness and  give a unique and meaningful rhythm to Ramadan, together with Magnum and creators in the community. So they can enjoy each other’s company, prayers and all the delicious food.

MAGNUM IFTAR
The event was very succesful and it was a unique way to generate more awareness for Magnum. By creating an Iftar evening during Ramadan the brand showed it’s inclusivity and we achieved a wider audience. With this campaign we created a new concept of generating awareness compared to previous campaigns.

REACH
The campaign has raised awareness with a PR value of more than €500.000. Looking at the KPI – we almost doubled the target. This shows that organizing an intimate event for the community, together with a host from the community, works great to create brand love and high quality content.
